We are not a credit repair organization

Rise Over Debt LLC is not a credit repair organization as defined by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA, 15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq.). We sell credit education materials. We do not, and will not, perform credit repair services on your behalf.

What we do

  • Sell pre-recorded courses, written lessons, templates, and worksheets that teach how the U.S. consumer credit system works.
  • Explain the legal rights every consumer already has under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other consumer protection laws.
  • Provide template letters that consumers may choose to send themselves to bureaus, creditors, or collectors.
  • Answer general questions about credit reporting, scoring, and disputes through email support.

What we do not do

  • We do not file disputes on your behalf with credit bureaus, creditors, or collection agencies.
  • We do not contact, call, write, or otherwise communicate with bureaus, creditors, or collectors for you.
  • We do not pull, store, or review your credit reports or credit scores.
  • We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth for credit-pull purposes, or any other information needed to access your credit file.
  • We do not promise, guarantee, or represent that any specific credit score improvement, account removal, or report change will occur.
  • We do not charge for credit repair services because we do not perform them.

Your rights you should know

CROA exists to protect consumers from abusive credit repair companies. Even though we are not subject to CROA, you should know these rights apply whenever you do work with any credit repair organization:

  • You have a right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the bureau directly. You do not need to pay anyone to do this for you.
  • You have a right to a free credit report from each of the three nationwide credit bureaus every twelve months via annualcreditreport.com.
  • You have a right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information. The credit bureau must investigate (usually within thirty days) and correct or delete information that cannot be verified.
  • You have a right to seek damages from violators. If a credit repair organization breaks CROA, you can sue.
  • You have a right to cancel a contract with a credit repair organization within three business days of signing, with no penalty.
  • Credit repair organizations cannot perform any services or collect any payment until they have a written, signed contract and the three-day cancellation period has passed.

These protections apply if you ever decide to hire an actual credit repair company. We share them here because part of our job as an education company is to make sure you know your rights before you spend money with anyone, including us.

No outcome guarantees

We make no guarantees about credit score changes, account removals, or financial results of any kind. The materials we sell are educational. What you do with them is up to you, and the results you see will depend on your individual credit file, your effort, your timing, and factors completely outside our control.

Questions or complaints
